Brethren I would take this opportunity to Congratulate all the Provincial Grand Lodge Office Bearers who were Installed into their various offices in the premises of Lodge Doric Kilwinning 68 on Friday 6th February. I would wish each of you the very best over the coming year and look forward to seeing you all at the many visitations and Communication of the Daughter Lodges within the Province. I would also Congratulate Provincial Grand Chaplin. Bro William Mclarty for the excellent manner in which he Installed the office Bearers into their various offices.
Thanks also go to all brethren who took the time to attend which made the night that little bit more special.
I would also thank all who attended the 200th Anniversary and Rededication of the Province of Renfrewshire West On Saturday 7th February in the premises of Greenock Kilwinning No XII. and there after at harmony, your attendance was greatly appreciated.
I would also offer a special thanks to the Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason. Bro Alexander Charles Graham Moncrieff, Grand Director of Ceremonies Bro Ronald W.A.Forbes and Rev. Alexander J. Shuttleworth MA. B,D. and the other Grand lodge office berears for what was an excellent 200 year Rededication Ceremony. Thanks also to D.of.C for the new Grip. If you know you know.
I would also thank all brethren from within and outwith the Province who attended the Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration in the Lyle Kirk.The march from the 175 club along Union St to the Kirk was a particular delight made more special with our three pipers leading the way followed by the Grand Master Mason along Union St Greenock on Sunday 8th February where we joined in harmony in the singing of Hymns and witnessed an excellent and very thought provoking sermon conducted by Bro. Rev. Jonathan C Fleming titled the The Next 200 years.
Congratulations also go to PG Chaplin on his readings. We then retired to the 175 club Kelly St for refreshments. I would finally thank the 175 club allowing us to use their premises and the catering staff for the excellent Fare. I would pay a special thanks to the most Worshipful Grand Master Mason Bro. Alexander Charles Graham Moncrieff for guidance over the Rededication week end and spending 2 days with the Brethren of the Province of Renfrewshire West. We do hope you had a safe journey home.
