Normally, the regular meetings of Provincial Grand Lodge are fairly quiet affairs without visitors and consist of the regular business of the Province. However, On Thursday 3 October, 2018, the Province was graced with a deputation from the Grand Lodge of Scotland, headed by the Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason, Brother Charles Iain Robert Gordon of Esslemont and including the Depute Grand Master, Brother Ewan Rutherford, Grand Secretary, Brother Euan J Edment, both Grand Wardens, Grand Director of Ceremonies and other high ranking brethren. Also present was the Provincial Grand Master of Dunbartonshire, Brother James Forrest.
Following the meeting, the brethren enjoyed an excellent buffet supper and a very interesting question and answer session between Grand Secretary and Substitute Provincial Grand Master, Brother Stuart Wilson.
